I found these lovely images on the ABC online site - gorgeous array of colours and textures. I'm sure we will not see it all, but certainly some of it. The flights over Lake Eyre are awesome but also cost about $500 per person!!! Paul Lockyer from ABC-TV has just filed a report on the area and the water flowing towards the Lake. It truly is quite an amazing spectacle and one of Nature's Wonders for sure! Predictions are that the water will continue to flow and fill Lake Eyre for some months and stay there for many months. One wonders how this huge body of water in the midst of our deserts will affect weather patterns... and the regions flora and fauna. Fascinating stuff!
